Since dropping its first conference match in straight sets to Tipton earlier this month Regina had rattled off four straight wins against River Valley Conference South Division foes.

Three different players had double digit kills as Class 2A No. 10 Regina swept 3A No. 10 West Liberty 25-16, 25-17, 25-18 on senior night at Regina.
Jaedynn Evans had 15 kills, Alex Wiese had 13 and Alexa Lehman had 10 as Regina improved to 22-7 on the season and 5-1 in RVC play.
Katrina Chambliss added six kills as Regina which avenged a loss to West Liberty at the Mid-Prairie tournament on Saturday.
Emily Bonnett led Regina with 39 assists while Clare Dunne had a match-high 22 digs.
Liberty Falls to Mount Vernon
Class 3A fifth-ranked Mount Vernon defeated Liberty 25-14, 25-15, 25-13 on Thursday in North Liberty.
LeeAnn Potter led Liberty High with 11 kills while Olivia Slattery had four kills.
Addie Schmierer had a team-high 12 digs while Piper Koski had 10 digs and 10 assists for the Lightning.
Liberty dropped to 9-16 with the loss while Mount Vernon improved to 12-5.
