The Clippers ran their winning streak to eight in a row with a doubleheader sweep of South Tama on Monday in Tama.
Clear Creek Amana won the opener 7-1 and took the nightcap 4-0 to improve to 15-17 on the season and 14-11 in WAMAC play.
Kobey Schlotman tossed a three-hitter in the opener allowing one unearned run while striking out five without a walk.
Schlotman also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and an RBI.
Cody Ogden was 2-for-4 with two runs and TJ Bollers had a hit and two RBI for the Clippers.
Camden Armstrong and Tyler Schrepfer combined on a two-hit shutout in game two to complete the sweep.
Armstrong allowed one hit and struck out two in six innings.
Sam Stevens went 2-for-3 with a run while Schlotman was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Camden Smyka went 1-for-3 with a run while David Jensen and Ogden both drove in runs.
