City High split a non-conference doubleheader with Pleasant Valley on Saturday at Mercer Park dropping the opener 4-2 and winning the second game 17-7 in six innings.
Class 4A fourth-ranked City High moved to 24-10 with the split while Pleasant Valley went to 17-13 on the season.
Jim Geerdes took the loss in the opener allowing three runs, two earned, on four hits with two strikeouts and six walks.
Travis Reyhons led City High at the plate going 2-for-4 while Caleb Sass was 1-for-2 and scored both City High runs.
Dylan Deshler had a hit and drove in a run and Zach Stone had an RBI.
Ten different Little Hawks had a hit in game two as City High hammered out 19 hits in the win.
Reyhons led the way going 4-for-5 with three runs and two RBI while Jacob Dykes and Stone each had three hits.
Stone drove in four runs and Dykes drove in two and scored twice.
Sass had two hits, scored three runs and drove in four and Deshler had two hits and drove in three runs.
Cole Milder and Brett McCleary each had a hit and scored two runs.
