Jordan Amelon will end her prep golf career at the state meet.

The West High senior made sure of that at the Class 5A, Region 3 meet on Monday afternoon.

Amelon shot a four-over-par 76 on Monday to finish fourth at the Region 3 meet at Irv Warren Memorial Golf Course in Waterloo securing a spot the state meet.

The Class 5A state meet will be held May 30 and 31 at Coldwater Golf Links in Ames.

Amelon is making her fourth consecutive state meet appearance after placing 16th at the state meet last season.  

Cedar Falls won the team title with a 312 to advance to state while Linn-Mar punched its ticket to state with a 365 good for a runner-up finish.
