Solon’s Ethan Yahr shot a 77 to place fifth and earn first-team all-conference honors at the WAMAC Super Meet on Monday at Springbrook Country Club in DeWitt.

Yahr helped Solon shoot a 335 to finish sixth in the team standings as Williamsburg won the title by one stroke over Benton Community with a 315.

Clear Creek Amana shot a 404 to finish 15th.

Isaac Knock of Williamsburg shot a 70 to finish two strokes in front of runner-up Drew Wolfe of Mount Vernon for the individual title.

Sterling McIlravy, Marcus Martin and Blake Newell all carded an 86 for Solon.

Brandon McCarty led Clear Creek Amana with an 85.

City High Seventh at Valley Divisional

City High finished seventh at the first of two Mississippi Valley Conference Valley divisional meets at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls on Monday.

The Little Hawks shot a 422 on Monday and are in sixth place in the Valley division standings after two events.

City High has a two-round total of 857 after scoring a 435 at the MVC SuperMeet.

Host Cedar Falls shot a 314 on Monday to win the divisional and widen its lead in the Valley Division to 37 strokes over second-place Dubuque Senior.

Rose Sadewasser led City High with a 96 on Monday.

Solon's Carter Third at WAMAC Super Meet

Solon senior Dani Carter shot an 85 to finish third at the WAMAC Super Meet at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg on Monday.

Carter earned first-team all-conference honors with her performance on Monday that helped Solon to an eighth-place team finish with a 389.

Host Vinton-Shellsburg won the team title with a 357 followed by Central DeWitt with a 364 and Anamosa with a 368.

Clear Creek Amana was 11th with a 409.

Grace McCarty shot a 96 for Solon and Allison Greathouse led Clear Creek Amana with a 98.
