Solon had three golfers place in the top 10 on its way to a runner-up finish at the West Delaware Invitational on Saturday at Pin Oak Golf Course in Manchester.

West Delaware had four golfers in the top 10 and two in the top four while winning the team title with a 318.

Solon shot a 325 to finish second, three strokes in front of third place East Buchanan.

Sterling McIlravy led Solon, shooting a 79 to place fifth.

Marcus Martin was seventh with an 80 while Jack Stahle fired an 82 to place eighth.

Mike DeLong of Vinton-Shellsburg and Chris Cooksley of East Buchanan each shot 72 to finish first and second.
