Golf Roundup: McIlravy, Erickson lead Solon to Triangular Win

Sterling McIlravy and Noah Erickson each shot a 38 to lead a trio of Solon golfers that scored in the 30s as the Spartans won a home triangular on Thursday at Lake MacBride Golf Course.
Marcus Martin was one stroke off the pace of McIlravy and Erickson with a 39 as Solon carded a 156 to finish in front of Anamosa and Lisbon.
Spencer Wolfe shot a 41 and Jack Stahle a 42 for Solon.

West Branch defeated Regina in a River Valley Conference dual on Thursday at Cedars Edge Golf Course.
Ted Bridges and Trevor Thein each shot a 42 to earn medalist honors for West Branch while Matt Whaley, Brady Lukavsky and Cade Aspelmeier all shot a 46.
Brady Wallace shot a 44 and Zach Seaman fired a 45 to lead Regina.
