West High senior Jordan Amelon shot an 84 to win the individual title at the Crandic Meet at Gardner Golf Course in Marion on Wednesday.

Amelon had four pars and a birdie while shooting a 40 on the back nine to edge Cedar Rapids Kennedy senior Katie Choate by two strokes for the individual title.

Kennedy shot a 389 to win the team title by one stroke over Cedar Rapids Prairie while Cedar Rapids Washington was third with a 394.

Rose Sadewasser and Lexi Shield each shot a 102 to lead City High to an eighth-place finish with a 435.

West High shot a 439 to place ninth.
