Another ranked opponent, another impressive performance for second-ranked Regina.

Class 1A No. 2 Regina rolled to a 6-0 win over sixth-ranked Waterloo Columbus on Tuesday at Regal Field.

Regina improved to 4-0 with its second straight win over a ranked team while Waterloo Columbus dropped to 3-1.

Nick Pechous scored three goals and added an assist and Carlos Zapata, Nate Green and Kieler Brown each scored once for Regina in the win.

Zapata, Michael Dunn, Jonah Warren and Mason Welter all had assists for Regina in the win.

Clear Creek Wins Fifth Straight

Clear Creek Amana ran its winning streak to five with a 1-0 win over Benton Community in a WAMAC West Division contest on Tuesday in Van Horne.

Mitch Evans scored the lone goal off a Wyatt Sedlacek assist as Class 2A No. 12 Clear Creek Amana improved to 5-1 on the season with its third consecutive shutout.

Benton Community dropped to 4-3 on the season.
