Golf Roundup: Bridges, Felderman Earn Medals at Wildcat Invitational

Ted Bridges shot an 86 to place fifth, leading West Branch to a fifth-place team finish at the Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday at Wahkonsa Golf Course in Durant.
The 86 from Bridges helped West Branch finish with a 368 to match sixth-place Mid-Prairie and finish six strokes better than seventh-place Regina.
Host Durant won the team title with a 341 while Wilton was second with a 346.
Regina’s Noah Felderman joined Bridges as one of six players to shoot an 86 on Tuesday finishing in eighth place.

Solon Puts Four in Top 10 at DeWitt Invitational
Solon had four golfers place in the top 10 on its way to a runner-up finish at the DeWitt Invitational on Tuesday at Springbrook Country Club.
Noah Erickson finished third with a 77 to lead Solon as the Spartans shot a 323 to finish two shots back of team champion Central DeWitt.
Marcus Martin was sixth with an 81 and Jack Stahle finished seventh with an 82 for Solon while Sterling McIlravy shot an 83 to place 10th.

City High placed third at a Mississippi Valley Conference triangular on Monday at The Meadows Golf Course in Dubuque.
Mary Edwards of Dubuque Wahlert shot a 41 to earn medalist honors and teammate Anna Jensen shot a 44 to earn runner-up honors.
Rose Sadewasser led City High with a 55.
