Regina won five events on its way to a fifth-place finish at the Saber Relays on Monday in DeWitt.

Jared Brinkman swept the throwing events and the Regals won both medley relays while finishing with 70 points.

Host Central DeWitt won the team title with 156 points followed by Tipton with 115 and City High with 89.

Brinkman turned in season-best performances to win both the shot out (61-0) and discus (162-2 ¼).

The Regina sprint medley relay team of Christian Iben, Jayden Kies, Brady Bigley and Jack Jensen won in a time of 1:37.93.

Bigley, Kies, Jensen and Ryan Bonthius teamed up to win the distance medley in a time of 3:41.65.

Nathan Meyer added a title in the 3,200 in a time of 10:31.08.
