Sterling McIlravy shot a 34 to earn medalist honors while teammate Ethan Yahr shot a 35 to finish as the runner-up.

Noah Erickson was the only other golfer to crack 40 on Monday, carding a 38 as Solon shot a 152 to finish 20 strokes in front of the Mustangs.

Amelon Runner-up at MVC Quad

West High senior Jordan Amelon shot a 39 to earn runner-up medalist honors at a Mississippi Valley Conference quadrangular at Dubuque Golf and Country Club on Monday.

Dubuque Senior won the team title with a 166 followed by Cedar Falls with a 170.

West High finished fourth with a 214.

Maddie Hawkins of Dubuque Senior shot a 38 to earn medalist honors.
