Solon placed third with 112 points on Thursday at the Jesse Day Invitational at Brady Street Stadium in Davenport.

Bettendorf won the team title with 146 points, one point in front of runner-up Pleasant Valley.

Gabbi Bullard won the 400 hurdles and Josie Durr won the high jump to lead Solon.

The Spartans claimed titles in the distance medley and 4×400 relays and added runner-up finishes in the 4×200 and shuttle hurdle relays.

Tipton Tigerette Relays  

Kaylie Barker finished second in the 3,000 to lead Clear Creek Amana to a sixth-place finish at the Tipton Tigerette Relays in Tipton on Thursday.

Monticello won the team title with 101 points followed by Mount Vernon with 91 points and Mount Pleasant with 59.

Clear Creek Amana was sixth with 39 points.

Karsyn Stratton placed third in the 200, Andrea Roller was third in the high jump and Mariah Roller was third in the discus for the Clippers.
