Brandon McCarty fired a four-over-par 40 to lead Clear Creek Amana to a win over Independence in a WAMAC dual on Monday at Amana Colonies Golf Club.

McCarty had six pars on his way to medalist honors and Cory Siders shot a 48 to earn medalist runner-up as Clear Creek Amana scored a 196.

Whaley Helps West Branch Down Durant  

West Branch had four players post scores in the 40s in a River Valley Conference dual win over Durant on Monday at Cedar Valley Golf Course.

Matt Whaley led West Branch with a 45 to earn medalist honors while Brady Lukavsky and Trevor Thein were each one shot back with a 46 to share runner-up medalist honors.

Ted Bridges added a 48 as West Branch posted a 185 to finish 16 strokes in front of Durant.
