Boys Basketball Roundup: Regina Closes Regular Season With Win at Durant

Regina closed the regular season in style on Thursday.
Freshman Masen Miller poured in a game-high 18 points to lead Regina to a 71-41 win over Durant in the season finale for both teams in Durant.
The win was the second straight for Regina and improved the Regals to 13-8 on the season and 12-6 in River Valley Conference play.
Regina led 37-14 at the half and 65-25 after three quarters on its way to a season sweep of Durant.
Jake Phillips had nine points four assists and three steals for Regina while Even Brauns added seven points and eight rebounds.
Blake Berns had six points and seven rebounds for Regina.
Luke Whitlock led Durant with 17 points as the Wildcats dropped to 9-12 on the season and 7-11 in RVC play.

West High Runs Win Streak to 11
West High will head to Kansas riding an 11-game winning streak.
Class 4A top-ranked West High ran its winning streak to 11 with a 74-55 win over Waterloo West in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest at West High.
The win improved West High to 16-1 on the season and 13-1 in MVC play heading into Saturday’s matchup with Missouri powerhouse Webster Groves at the Best of the Midwest Showcase at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
Connor McCaffery had 20 points and Patrick McCaffery added 17 in the win over Waterloo West.
Devontae Lane led West High with six rebounds, six assists and six steals.
Waterloo West dropped to 8-9 on the season and 6-8 in MVC play with its fifth straight loss.
