A pair of City High athletes made their college plans official on Wednesday as Joe Hoff and Shannon Stamp each signed national letters of intent on the first day of the early signing period.
Hoff signed to play tennis at Creighton University while Stamp signed to continue her volleyball career at Concordia University in Chicago.
Stamp was a second team all-conference selection this year as a senior helping City High to a 20-14 record and a spot in the regional finals.
The 6-foot-1 Stamp had 131 kills and a team-high 64 blocks for City High.
Hoff is already one of the most decorated tennis players in City High history after posting a 19-4 record and last year as a junior his way to a state runner-up finish in singles play.
Hoff became the first City High player to reach the state title match since Steve Molen in 1985, falling to West High junior Jiung Jung in the 2A state title match.
