West Branch is one win away from a third consecutive trip to the state tournament.

Abby Knoop and Abbey Fryauf combined for 42 kills to lift West Branch to a 25-15, 29-25, 25-10, 25-22 win over Wilton on Thursday in the Class 2A, Region 7 semifinals at Calamus-Wheatland High School.

West Branch improved to 21-15 on the season and will face third-ranked Sumner-Fredericksburg (32-5) in the Region 7 title game on Tuesday at Center Point-Urbana.

Knoop had a match-high 27 kills on Thursday as West Branch avenged a pair of regular season losses to Wilton.

Fryauf added 15 kills for West Branch while Claire Bridges added six kills, four ace serves and a team-high 32 digs.

DaLana Kron had 31 digs while Sophie Nopoulos had 25 assists and 12 digs while Riley Vaughan added 19 assists.
