Clear Creek Amana seniors Luke Winger and Wyatt SedlacekYour Prep Sports 

Clear Creek Amana finished second at its own invitational on Monday at the Iowa City Kickers Fields in Iowa City.

Class 2A fifth-ranked Mid-Prairie had the top three individual finishers and won the team title with 23 points, 17 in front of runner-up Clear Creek Amana.

The Clippers got a fourth place finish from sophomore Cole Liebe in 17:27.39 and a sixth place finish from Nick O’Connor in 17:36.06 while finishing with 40 points.

Vinton-Shellsburg was third with 63 points.

Clear Creek Amana had four runners finish in the top 10 as seniors Wyatt Sedlacek placed eighth and ninth respectively.
